Than with plane to Podgorica, capital of Montenegro, or with bus or … car or taxi to Plav town (euro 20, seven hour bus trip). Taxis are shared willingly by local passengers, a taxi ride, shared by few means a fee divided by the number of passengers. Sign language can get you that far, and thus makes taxis affordable to and from Podgorica and Belgrade. To Podgorica airport. Than with bus or car or taxi to Plav town. Information about flights find on the sites of JAT Airways, a former Yugoslav airlines, or on Montenegro Airlines. There are flights bargains from Dusseldorf and koln to Belgrade during season. To Dubrovnik with Easy-jet, from Liverpool and London. Easy-jet is renowned to be cheap (in price). Bus to Podgorica, then bus to Plav. June 2010, during high season (June till October), JAT Airways offers direct flights from Amsterdam to Belgrade. Departure timetable offers convenient options. A two hour flight as it goes. Around EUR 100,00 one way and best price yet. (posted by i.) To be checked, Pristina also is a viable destination to get to Plav. By Bus. Beograd (Belgrade)-Plav Podgorica-Plav Plav bus schedules are early morning, noon, early afternoon. Buses leave Plav at 6:00, 12:15, 16:30 with destination Podgorica. By train. Beograd (Belgrade)-Bijelo Polje. Then with bus or with car (rent a car) to Plav. By car. Beograd (Belgrade)-Kraljevo-Novi-Pazar-Plav. Podgorica-Kolasin-Berane-Andrijevica-Plav. Coming from Podgorica, go as far as Kolasin (70 km. 1 hour and half), drive over bridge into town, take road to Andrejevica (this road has almost no traffic, is 50 kilometers long and takes 1 hour) Andrejevica, then Murino and finally Plav. A scenic comfortable road going up and down over Conmovi mountain range. This road is just a tad slower as the highway over Berane. For travelers with limited time do we advise against coming in through Bosnia (Sarajevo). This trajectory is over secondary roads and the slower one. Border crossings are multiple, (Croatia-Bosnia, then Bosnia-Servia are aditional to what it takes on the trajectory Zagreb-Belgrade-Plav). This itinerary starts the vacation. To Dusseldorf by car or motorcycle. The 'autozug' (car and motorcycle carrier train) to Trieste (Italy). A 1-2 hour drive to Rejieca (through Slovenia). A car and motorcycle ferry (Jadrolinia)takes you from Rejieca to Dubrovnic in all comfort (24h trip). Dubrovnic, Budva, Cetije, Kolasin, Vielo Pole, Berane, and then Plav (a five hour drive over good roads). Vacation starts when you leave your home.
